Watch that synch ratio!
One of the big name stores in Shanghai is the Japanese brand Uniqlo. Uniqlo, a portmanteau of “unique” and “clothes”, is a large clothing store with an array of reasonably priced apparel for men and women. It’s perhaps my favorite clothing store in Asia and I can best liken it to a better quality Old Navy. It’s also a favorite among many expats due to the Japanese styling and range of sizes. Being a Japanese brand, Uniqlo carries a line of anime related t-shirts with Dragonball, Naruto and Evangelion usually represented. In this photo is one of the latest Uniqlo anime offerings, an Evangelion entry plug t-shirt, retailing for 100RMB (about $15 USD)
